Overview

Whether you are a coach, official, volunteer, staff, parent or only a fan/spectator – safety is a high and absolute priority for BCWPA. BCWPA strives offers a safe environment to all our athletes and to all the various individuals who play and/or contribute to the sport of water polo in British Columbia.  There are several components to consider in order to make this a reality, and this is what this SAFETY section is all about.

Safety is also about other components such as Insurance, Anti-Doping Program, and appropriate Concussion Protocol, to name a few, and you will also find in this section relevant information on these topics.

BCWPA also wants to ensure there is an "environment free of all forms of abuse, harassment, bullying or discrimination" aspect within the sport of water polo in British Columbia.  For this, we ask you to review the section of “Code of Conduct, listed in the Interactive Playbook.
